Then, head downstairs to our tufting studio, where your imagination takes shape as you design your very own cozy rug. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, we’re here to help you craft something special—one creative moment at a time!
About Us
Design Junction was a little dream thought up by us whilst we were studying at University of Southampton. We found that in Winchester there was a huge gap in the market for creativity and we wanted to build a welcoming community where creative’s can learn together and thrive outside of an educational establishment. Back in 2019 we began Winchester Life Drawing Club where we met many wonderful people who connected us to the thriving creative culture within Winchester. Fast forward to 2021 and we were lucky enough to be given the opportunity to open our own venue thanks to the help of Winchester City Council.
Pottery Studio
Our beautiful sunny studio is in the heart of Winchester city centre. Specialising in a range of throwing workshops, pottery painting, handbuilding and special events. Whether you’re a complete beginner or you wish to expand your skills more, we have everything you need to get creative with clay.
Tufting Classes
Join us and create a beautiful piece of art for your home unique to you. We will introduce you to the whole tufting setup and help you master the machine.

We are located in the centre of Winchester, down Kings Walk, opposite Sainsbury’s. Take a right turn down the alley into the courtyard opposite Primark. The nearest carpark is Friarsgate, a 2 minute walk!
